Dec 10, 2015 | Godspeed AKATSUKI! |
It is my great pleasure to hear that Venus Climate Orbiter AKATSUKI of ISAS arrived at Venus and is put into the orbit around Venus.
It is amazing that once lost mission 5 years ago comes back to the track.
Project is continued by engineers and scientists, and many of the scientists involved in this mission, including the project leader are members of JpGU.
All the scientific results from AKATSUKI will be presented at JpGU.
The most important thing is that the new era begins that planetary data obtained by Japan will be delivered to the world.
Japan is regarded as one of the important members of planetary exploration by many countries. Congratulations!
