1. Apology for abstract submission web system trouble
We, Japan Geoscience Union have updated our web system since last year.
We’ve individually corresponded to everyone who could not make credit card settlements. We really took this situation seriously and we’re going to thoroughly investigate the causes of this system error and try to cash in on this experience next year. Please be sure to make JpGU Meeting registration as early as possibble. Please be in a hurry to make JpGU Meeting registration 2010.

February 26 Schedule for JpGU Meeting 2010 is fixed.
March 10 Part timers recruitment starts.
March 15 Session Program is fixed by each convener

April 9 Pre-registration and advance ticket for the party are closed.
May 14 JpGU Meeting programs and abstract CD ROMs are delivered to abstract submitters and those who have made pre-registrations.

Venue: Restaurant at the 1st floor of International Conference Hall
Ticket for the party
Advance : General 4.000JPY Student 1,500JPY
On site : General 5,000 JPY Student 2,000 JPY
Advance rate is adopted on and before April 9.
Everyone who has ID can attend the party.
From this meeting, registration can be made through our web system even after pre-registration period is over.
Please note the normal rate is adopted on and after April 10, 2010.

We still have some space. You still can apply for various kinds of exhibition booths. Please check the following website.
From this meeting, we accept your request on booth numbers.

3. From Committees
(1) NPO Japan Earth Science Olympiad Committee
29 students for the 2nd Japan Earth Science Olympiad selection or the 1 st selection and for the 4th international Earth Science Olympiad in Indonesia are decided.
Among them 24 students participate in Grand-prix Chikyu-ni Wakusaku held in Tsukuba city from March 24 to 26.
Students to be dispatched to Indonesia are to be decided there.
