1. Call for
votes Representative Election of Japan Geoscience Union
The
deadline for the 1st Japan Geoscience Union’s representative
election is coming near.
Please be in a hurry if you haven’t voted yet or are
thinking to make a membership subscription to JpGU.
Average voter
turnout as of December 20 at 12:00 JST is 15.6%.
The highest
one is 27%, that of Biogeosciences.
The real-time
voting rate is shown on the following URL.

Representatives or staff elected by members become section
presidents or persons eligible for directors.
They pass resolutions regarding executive official
elections, confirmation of project master plans and other
operation policies together with society members at ordinary
and extraordinary general staff meetings.
Please make a membership subscription, be constituent and
vigorously vote for representative election to reflect your
will on smooth operation of JpGU Corporation.

Members who have finished membership subscription by October 30 are eligible to vote.
Please cast your votes for at most 5 representatives in your electoral zone.
Voting can be made from October 1 to October 30.
