#1. Session Proposal for JpGU Meeting 2019

Call for session proposals for the JpGU Meeting 2019 will start on
Monday, September 3rd 2018. The deadline is Friday, October 12th.
More information will be posted on the Meeting website to be also launched
on Sept 3rd.

#2. Announcement of 2018 OSPA Recipients

It is a great pleasure to announce that 59 students listed below
have been chosen as this year’s Outstanding Student Presentation
Award recipients.
We have received more than 600 entries and 5-10% presentations
of each section were awarded according to our regulation.
Congratulations to the recipients.

#3. Abstract Submission to AGU Fall Meeting 2018 as a JpGU Member

Based on the MOU between JpGU and AGU, JpGU is promoting joint
sessions with AGU.
In the same manner, this year, JpGU member without holding an AGU ID
can submit an abstract to co-sponsored sessions with JpGU at AGU Fall
Meeting 2018.

#4. Information from PEPS

(1) Progress in Earth and Planetary Science Receives First Impact Factor

We are pleased to announce that Progress in Earth and Planetary
Science (PEPS) has received its first Impact Factor of 2.481, which
was announced in the June 2018 edition of Clarivate Analytics Journal
Citation Reports.
