#2. The JpGU Meeting 2018 Information

(1) Latest Information

The session proposal period for the JpGU Meeting 2018 was closed on
October 12 receiving 236 proposals. We’d like to thank all conveners
who proposed a session. The session list will be available online soon
and soon after that,on January 10,2018 the abstract submission will

Release of the Session and Meeting Schedule: December 1 (FRI)

We are waiting for you submission.

(2) Call for Exhibitors

JpGU Meeting 2018 call for exhibitors.
As the number of booths are increased from the last year, exhibitors
area will be more active than ever.
Application starts on around 15th November at the official web site
for the Meeting.
We are waiting for your application.

(3) PEPS special sessions

We are planning to have PEPS special sessions in the JpGU Meeting 2018.
Applications for the travel support will open in March 2018 or after.
Further details will be announced closer to the time of the opening.

#3. 2018 JpGU Fellowship Program

The Japan Geoscience Union (JpGU) is now accepting recommendations
for candidates for the 2018 JpGU Fellowship Program.
Nominees should be individuals who have made contributions to the
field of geoscience research in Japan by making significant
discoveries breakthroughs or paradigm shift, or contributing to the
development of Japanese geoscience and the dissemination of
geoscientific knowledge.

Nomination deadline: December 31 Sunday, 2017

Japan Geoscience Union is going to exhibit at 2017 AGU Fall Meeting
in New Orleans.
We will provide the 2018 JpGU Meeting session list, joint session
information and other meeting information.

(1) PEPS to be indexed in Scopus!

We are pleased to announce that PEPS will be included in Elsevier’s
abstract and citation database Scopus.

We would like to thank everyone for supporting PEPS and contributing
