(4) Barbecue party

On May 27th from 19:45, Wednesday after poster session core time, Barbecue party is held at the open space 
outside Makuhari Messe International Conference Hall.
Please bring your friends to the space and enjoy the barbecue party.

World class reserachers give you special lectures during lunch time everyday except
 for 26th, Tuesday. Lunch boxes are sold in front of the lecture room.

(9) International Mixer Luncheon (Repeated)

Invitation to international and Japanese participants

Students and researchers from overseas will have chance to chat amongst yourselves and with Japanese resident participants.
This gathering is your opportunity to foster international friendship. JpGU will provide free lunch and some drinks at this forum to make yourself known to your international colleagues and expand your research connections.

#5. From Committees

(1) Japan Earth Science Olympiad Committee

*Main selection of Japan Earth Science Olympiad was conducted from March 15 to
17 at Tsukuba-city in Ibaraki Prefecture.
10 students were given the outstanding performance awards and other some other awards were
 also given.
Among them, four high school students for International Earth Science Olympiad to be held in 
Brazil were chosen.
In addition to them, one student in Mie Prefecture was chosen as a guest participant in consideraton for
IESO in Japan in 2016.
