1. New Web system has started!
JpGU is now renewing present web system for membership subscription and so on.
Members’ data transition was successfully finished and new system started on
September 11, 2009.

2. Information of JpGU Meeting 2010
(1) Meeting Information
Date ： 23-28 May 2010, Sunday – Friday
Venue ： Makuhari Messe International Conference Hall （Chiba City, Japan）
(2) Call for Session Proposal
The Web site for session proposal opens from 16 September to 30 October 2009.
Sessions are divided into following 9 categories as below.
When you
propose a science session, please specify one of
scientific session categories
on the Web site.
– Public Session
– Union Session
– Scientific Sessions
Space and Planetary Sciences Session
Atmospheric, Ocean, and Environmental Sciences Session
Human Geosciences Session
Solid Earth Sciences Session
Biogeosciences Session
General Geoscience Session
Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Session

(3) International Session
We strongly encourage you to propose “International sessions”
to JpGU Meeting 2010, in which all papers are in English. You can
specify your session as an International session on the Web site.

Session proposal is greatly appreciated.
