#1. JpGU Meeting 2018 Report

(1) Overview
We’d like to thank all attendees for participating in JpGU Meeting
2018.
Here is the flash report of this year’s meeting.

(2) Poster presentations by High School Students
Poster presentations by high school students were held on Sunday, May
20. 78 presentations were made and schools listed below were awarded
for their excellent works.

(b) Outstanding Presentation Award (4 Schools)

(3) JpGU Photo Contest 2018 Award-Winning Photos
The JpGU Photo Contest was held during the meeting receiving 16
entries in total.
They competed for “Best Photography Award” and “JpGU Poster Award”.

(4) From OSPA Committee
The result of OSPA is planned to be reported in the next Mailnews
(July Issue) or as an Extra Issue if is ahead of schedule.
Please wait for a while.

We also would like to express our gratitude for all judges for
their cooperation.

(5) Lost and Found
JpGU are keeping belongings left in the conference site.

If you have lost your belonging, please contact office@jpgu.org along
with the detailed information (item, color, date and place of loss,
etc.,) of the item.

We’ll send it to you by cash on delivery. Items are to be disposed of
after Monday, July 2.

(6) Meeting Certificates
JpGU issues certificate of attendance and certificate of presentation to
those who request them. The certificate will be sent in PDF via email.

#2. JpGU Meeting 2019 Information

JpGU Meeting 2019 is scheduled to be held for 5 days, from May 26 (SUN)
– 30 (THU), 2019 in Chiba, Japan. Session proposal is open on September
3, 2018. We are waiting for your proposals.

We are pleased to announce that the CiteScore 2017 metric of Elsevier
Scopus are available now, and that our 2017 CiteScore is 2.52. And
PEPS was ranked 20th in 182 journals of the same field.
