#6. Information from PEPS

(1) Category changed from “Data paper” to “Paper with full data attached”

In November 2016 PEPS announced that it would be accepting data
papers for publication. After considering the papers that have been
submitted we conducted an internal review and have decided to rename
this category of papers as “papers with full data attached”. We feel
that this better describes the sort of article that we are interested in
publishing. Papers with full data attached are intended to preserve
detailed raw research data and make these available to the research
community for further analysis, but they must also include a scientific
research article based on the data which meets with PEPS usual
standards: we have decided that we will not be publishing “data only”
data papers. For further information about the submission guidelines
for papers with full data attached please see
https://progearthplanetsci.springeropen.com/submission-guidelines/preparing-your-manuscript/paper-with-full-data-attached
