#1. Session Proposal for JpGU Meeting 2018

The session proposal for the JpGU Meeting 2018 will start on September
1st 2017. The proposal website, also openinng on Sept 1st closes on
October 12th. More information will be posted on the Meeting website
launched on Sept 1st.

#3. Representative Election

Term of office of representatives who were elected in 2016 expires on
March 31st 2018, and the next representative election will be
announced on the beginning of August.
A number of representatives is 150 from this election.

Only those who are a JpGU member on the day before the public
announcement of the representative election and make payment for
annual fee is eligible to be a candidate, to be a nominator and to
vote.
To be a JpGU member, approval of board of directors is required
after the application through online system.
Meeting of directors will be held at July 21st, and 20nd 5:00pm(JST)
is the deadline for membership application through online system
before the meeting of directors.
Please apply for JpGU membership by the deadline.

Please check your payment status through online system, and if you
have not made payment for member fee for 2017 and before, please
make payment in advance.

#4. Give to Japan Geoscience Union

Japan Geoscience Union welcomes donations from generous donors
to support the advancement of geosciences and JpGU.The contributions
will be used for non-profitable activities of such as programs for early
career scientists and students, international services , etc.
Receipts for income tax reports are issued.

on the left.
