#2. [Important] JpGU Meeting 2016 information

(1)Information on pre-registration
It is possible to make online registration during the Meeting.
Please make sure to make pre-registration before you come to the site.
It may take time to make on-site registration.

Not only abstract submission but also JpGU Meeting registration is necessary
to participate in the meeting. On-site registration may take time.
Please be sure to make pre-registration if you’re going to make presentations there.
Discount rate is NOT adopted on-site.

[ Participants who have already made a registration ]

*The barcode required to enter the site is now downloadable.
Please login to the URL bellow. After logging in, go to JpGU Meeting Menu.
Please make sure to bring your print out barcode to the venue.

*Barcodes shown on mobile screen is acceptable only in the normal size.
If you have any difficulty showing your barcode on the display,
please feel free to ask to the staff.

*We CANNOT issue your conference pass by searching for your name.
If you don’t bring your barcode to the venue, you’ll have to print it out
with a computer prepared on the site. It may take a long time.

*Check-in counter is located on the 1st floor at International Conference Hall.
Participants at APA Hotel will also be required the conference pass issued
at check-in counter. Conference passes are required to enter to all session sites.

[ For temporary ID members (those who don’t have JpGU member IDs) ]

JpGU member discounted rate is NOT adopted by just acquiring JpGU temporary member ID.
To upgrade your status from Temporary member of JpGU Meeting 2016 to JpGU member,
please make a new JpGU membership ID remaining your temporary ID.
Your temporary ID will automatically be deleted after the Meeting.

(2) Now accepting M-IS34 Kumamoto Special Session abstract submission!

We are now accepting abstract submission for M-IS34 Kumamoto Special Session.
The deadline of the submission is May 12th at 6:00pm JST.
We are waiting for your participation.

Poster: May 25th (WED) 5:15pm /26th (THU) 3:30pm

Only by letting your conveners or secretariats know the changes,
the audience cannot be aware of the changes.

(6) To support Kumamoto

We would like to offer our sincere sympathy to the people living
in the regions hit by the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake.
To support Kumamoto, we’ll have the donation booth.

Donation is accepted from May 22nd (FRI) at Donation Salon.
If you have any question, please ask to our staff.

If you can donate pictures showing Kumamoto’s situation after
the earthquake, please bring it to Donation Salon.
We can’t give your pictures back once you’ve donated them.
Pictures without backup is not acceptable. On-site print out is available.

(7) Party Invitation

Participants have a chance to win the prizes.
Please come to the party with your colleagues.

To participants who have already made the registration,
the barcode to issue the conference pass on the site has become
downloadable from today. Please make sure to bring it on the day.
Barcodes in the full size shown on the electric devices are also available.
It’ll take time to issue your conference pass without the barcode.

Check-in counter opening time:
>From 22nd to 24th : 8:00am-6:00pm
25th : 8:30am-6:00pm
26th : 8:30am-5:00pm
Check-in counter is on the 1st floor at International Conference Hall.
The check-in in the morning is expected to be crowded.
We recommend checking-in of the following day is available
at 5:00pm-6:00pm on the previous day.

(1) Japan Earth Science Olympiad Committee

The 10th International Earth Science Olympiad will be held in Mie, Japan.
The pre-entry countries have recorded 30 countries which is the highest

(1) Exhibition in JpGU Meeting 2016

PEPS are going to have a booth in the JpGU Meeting 2016 with special gifts

PEPS is promoting excellent paper submissions by inviting authors
