From Committees (1) Japan Earth Science Olympiad Committee *Main selection of Japan Earth Science Olympiad was conducted from March 15 to 17 at Tsukuba-city in Ibaraki Prefecture. 10 students were given the outstanding performance awards and other some other awards were also given. Among them, four high school students for International Earth Science Olympiad to be held in Brazil were chosen. In addition to them, one student in Mie Prefecture was chosen as a guest participant in consideraton for IESO in Japan in 2016.
