Japan Geoscience Union Meeting 2007
Program Committee Chairman : Takashi FurumuraSessions for the 2007 meeting are divided into the following 3 categories.
1. Regular session (R session)
Sessions highly focused on one specific research field in earth and planetary sciences and/or interdisciplinary sessions that have been held regularly for the past several years. Proposals of the latter type are evaluated on the basis of past performance.
2. Special session (S session)
We will consider all proposals for special (interdisciplinary) sessions to discuss scientifically "hot" topics. In the event that a related R session is being held it is necessary to clarify the difference between the proposed S session and the R session.

3. Union session (U session)
U sessions discuss topics common to a wide range of fields of earth and planetary sciences. All presentations are invited. U sessions will have ample time for lectures and discussion.

* International sessions
Several international sessions in the above 3 categories will be held in the 2007meeting. All presentations in international sessions must be made in English. We hope many foreign researchers will participate in the 2007 meeting, taking full advantage of the international sessions.
Note:
All sessions include both oral presentations that about 15 minutes and poster presentations. Participation and registration fees are required of all participants.
The English-based submission system is planned to not available. Please ask help of Japanese colleagues around you.
