About Meeting

Overview

The Japan Geoscience Union Meeting brings together researchers in differing specialties from many institutions throughout the world. Many oral presentations, poster presentations, invited lectures and special lectures have been held till now. In 2018, JpGU Meeting will take place at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan from 20 (SUN) to 24 (THU) May 2018 . (Click HERE for the 2018 meeting information)

Session & Presentation

All presentations are given in a "Session."
Each year, approx. 190sessions has been held during the JpGU Meeting.
Presentation formats are orals and posters.
Oral presentations are made in the coference rooms, using slides, other vidual materials.
Poster presentations are a poster style presentations.
Authors put all research results in a poster.
Presentation languages is either English or Japanese.

Public Session & Public Day

JpGU Meeting also invites public attendees to the public sessions held on Public Day (Sunday). This sessions aims to introduce the latest scientific researches results of Geoscience. Public sessions are open to everyone for free.

How to participate

All attendees must make a registration to attend sessions and/ or lectures.
Those who complete the registration and payment during the early-bird registration period will receive a discount.
Both pre-registration and on-site registration is available for public sessions. Registration fee is free of charge for public session attendees. Please check-in from the "Public Check-in Counter" at the venue.

The attendees below can also attend the meeting for free.
