Overview

The Japan Geoscience Union Meeting brings together researchers in differing specialties from many institutes throughout the world.
Many oral presentations, poster presentations, invited lectures and special lectures have been delivered until today.
In 2019, the JpGU Annual Meeting will take place at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan from 26 (SUN) to 30 (THU) May 2019 .

Session & Presentation

All presentations are given in a consecutive set of presentations called "Session".
In the last few years, more than 200 sessions have been convened during our annual meeting.
Presentation formats are orals and posters.
Oral presentations are made in the coference rooms, using slides, other vidual materials.
Poster presentation is given with a poster style material.
Presentation languages is either English or Japanese.

Public Session & Public Day

JpGU Meeting also invites public attendees to the public sessions held on the Public Day (Sunday).
Public sessions aim to introduce the latest scientific research results on Geoscience in an easy-to -understand manner.
These sessions welcome anyone interested in geosciences for free.

How to participate

All attendees must make a registration to attend the meeting.
Those who completes the registration and payment during by the early-bird registration deadline will receive a discount.
Both pre-registration and on-site registration is available for public sessions. Registration is free of charge for public session attendees.
Attendees who completed the registration may enter the site by scaning the e-ticket (this is called check-in) displayed on each individual members webpage.
The attendees listed below may also attend the meeting free of charge.
