Membership Category

JpGU ID is required to propose a session, submit an abstract and make a registration.

JpGU Membership Categories

AGU Members (with JpGU ID) >How to create an ID	Free of charge	Receive JpGU member discounted rate in registration fee. *Senior member of AGU will be charged a regular registration fee.	ID: Automatically passed over to next year.
AOGS and EGU Members >How to create an ID	Free of charge	Receive JpGU member discounted rate in registration fee. *Senior member of AOGS and EGU will be charged a regular registration fee .	ID: Automatically deleted on August 31, 2019.

* Please note that changing the Nonmember ID to JpGU Members', or vice versa, or holding two IDs with different membership category is NOT available.

Acquiring Steps
1. Select a membership/ ID category
2. Enter your email address
3. Click the URL sent to your email address.
4. Enter the required information and complete your registration.

Important Notes

Attendees are expected to refer to the Fee Table and acknowledge the difference of the rates BEFORE being a JpGU Member or creating a Nonmember ID.

Please note that changing the Nonmember ID to JpGU Members, AGU, AOGS or EGU members, or vice versa, or holding two IDs with different membership category is NOT available.

Annual Due

Annual due is charged every year to JpGU Members.

To attend the JpGU Meeting 2018 as a JpGU member, annual due of 2018 is required.
The JpGU Member ID for 2018 year can be created from January 10, 2018. If you join before this date, you will be registered as a member of 2017 year and charged the annual due of 2017 year.

For Conveners who will propose a session

Conveners must use the same JpGU ID to propose a session, submit and abstract, purchase a discussion frame and make a meeting registration.

If a convener becomes a JpGU Member during September to December 2017 to propose a session, he/ she will be charged the annual due of 2017 fiscal year. In additional to this, annual due for 2018 is necessary in order to attend the meeting in May, 2018. The annual due for 2018 open its payment in January 2018.

Conveners are expected to refer to the Fee Table and acknowledge the difference of the rates BEFORE being a JpGU Member or creating a Nonmember ID.

AGU Members

AGU members may create a JpGU ID by registering their AGU account with JpGU.
In this case, AGU member will not be charged the annual due for JpGU membership.

Acquiring Steps
1. Click the "Register My AGU Account with JpGU" button below.
2. (You will be redirected to AGU website) Log in with your AGU log in credentials.
3. Follow the instructions and check your JpGU ID on the email sent to you.
AGU Members will be redirected to AGU website and asked to log in with you AGU account information.

Discount for Senior members is only applicable for Seniors of JpGU members.
Condition of discount for senior members of partner unions are subject to change every year.
In 2018 meeting, senior member of AGU will have no discount.

AOGS and EGU Members

-AOGS ID Holders and EGU members may receive a discount on the registration fee.

2. Enter your email address
3. Click the URL sent to your email address.
4. Checkmark AOGS or EGU when you are asked if you belong to any Societies.
