Session Sub-category Seismology (SS)
Session ID S-SS08
Title Crustal Structure
Short Title Crustal Structure
Main Convener Name Seiichi Miura
Affiliation Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology
Co-Convener 1 Name Ryosuke Azuma
Affiliation Recearch Center for Prediction of Earthquake and Volcanic Eruption, Graduate School of Science, Tohoku University
Session Language

Scope
This session aims to cover seismological and geophysical studies on the Earth's crust and uppermost mantle. Contribution to the seismological and geophysical structure of the crust and processes that develop in the crust which includes earthquakes, volcanoes, and geological descriptions of the crust are welcomed. We also welcome theoretical and methodological studies that will serve as basics in such explorations.
