Scope |
Various issues such as climate change, natural disaster risk, resource and energy issues, poverty, and ecosystem degradation are expected to become further serious in the future. What approaches are needed to address these diverse and complex challenges and to provide sustainable solutions? Human Geosciences (HG) is a field that explores the relationship between the global and local environment and human activities and is unique in that it brings together a wide range of researchers with various specialties. The purpose of this session is to deepen the integration within HG section, which consists of various fields of expertise, explore cooperation with other sections, and discuss the development of HG. If academic integration, Gakuyugo advances by deepening the connections between the different fields in this section, the benefits of diversity can be demonstrated, and science for building a better relationship between the earth and humans can be further contributed. While being aware of the longtime axis unique to Earth and planetary science and the hierarchical space axis that connects local and global, we would like to deepen our discussion on what kind of research is effective for achieving synergy effects. |
