I'm chair of JpGU Meeting 2011 as chair of Society Council of JpGU this year.
About 5,700 participants took part in JpGU Meeting 2010 and was a great success.
I'm expecting further expansion in the next meeting.
The biggest feature of this meeting is that various topics on earth planetary science related research fields are discussed at the same time during six days' meeting.
Please leverage this meeting for presenting your research results to other researchers, high school students and to the general public and exchanging opinions with other researchers of the various research fields.
Many international sessions are planned and will become a good chance for international exchange.
We're waiting for you, especially young researchers to actively participate in this meeting at Makuhari Messe.
