Near surface geophysics
Scope
With the advent of new technologies, new instruments and improved data-processing, geophysics became capable to participate in investigating both small and large scale targets. Indeed, these advances make geophysics capable to challenge and solve many environmental problems. Among these issues we find waste disposal, contaminated-land mapping, seawater intrusion and cavity detection are the most issues need to be addressed.
