Natural resource use and management
Scope
In this session, issues on natural resource use and management from all over the world are discussed based on findings from local-scale fieldwork. Taking human ecological perspectives as a focal point, a variety of research topics are expected including resource use and local knowledge, environmental degradation through resource use and/or management, related socio-economic changes and implication for livelihood security, political ecology, and the issue of scale gap between local and broader, national and global studies.
