The land-sea interactions-material cycles and ecosytem
Scope
Global warming and deforestation have ever been affecting the environments of river catchments, whose changes probably propagate into the material cycles and ecosystems in the sea. In this session, how environmental and climate changes on land changed or will change the material cycles in river catchments and in the sea is discussed on a variety of time and space scales on the base of field observations, chemical analyses, image analyses, sediment-core analyses and modelling.
