Conveners will lead a discussion on strategies to maintain trust in science, protect researcher autonomy, and promote open collaboration across borders.

Expected outcomes:

Deepen understanding of global factors affecting scientific independence and collaboration.

Discuss how international scientific unions and associations can advocate for science infrastructure, investment, and evidence-based policymaking.

Identify pathways to sustain and strengthen the global scientific and research ecosystem.

Footnote:
After approval, please avoid scheduling during nighttime in European time. The conveners aim to include a diverse panel of experts representing a range of global perspectives.
