地球の気候システムのメカニズムおよび多様な時間スケールでの変動を理解することは、生物圏と人間社会の持続可能性を維持するうえで不可欠である。人為的な強制力は、物理的・化学的撹乱を通じて気候システムをますます変化させており、その影響は生態系や人間活動におよんで世界規模で拡大している。本セッションでは、自然アーカイブや代理指標データ、数値モデルに基づく第四紀および人新世の気候変動に関する研究発表を募集する。特に、水文・大気変動、極端気象イベント、大気・海洋・温室効果ガス間の連動的相互作用と、それらが駆動する地球規模の気候変動に関する研究を歓迎する。

Understanding the mechanisms and variability of the Earth climate system across different timescales is essential for sustaining the biosphere and human society. Anthropogenic forcing has increasingly modified the climate system through physical and chemical perturbations, affecting ecosystems and human activities on a global scale. This session invites contributions on Quaternary and Anthropocene climate change derived from natural archives, proxy data, and modeling approaches. We particularly encourage studies addressing hydrological and atmospheric variability, extreme climatic events, and the coupled interactions among the atmosphere, ocean, and greenhouse gases that drive global climate change.
