Have you ever felt that the research you have been doing and want to present does not fit any session because of its inter-, multi-, or transdisciplinary nature? It may combine the results of various methods that come from multiple fields. It can be research that collaborates with other disciplines out of the comfort zone of your own, or a field whose contribution to Earth and planetary science is uncommon.
This session is for those studies.
There are only a few requirements: the research, planned to be introduced, needs to apply a combination of various methods and synthesize them into a complex environment reconstruction. (There is no specification in the applied methods, but the description needs to be easy to understand for all, coming from various fields.) The research may aim to reconstruct, for example, sedimentary, magmatic-volcanic, metamorphic, tectonic, and climatic terrestrial and planetary environments from any time period in the studied planetary body or bodies history.
The session may function as a mirror as well. It may test and show whether the Earth and planetary scientific community is as open-minded about collaborations with other fields within our discipline and with other disciplines (e.g., social science) as we think.
