土壌や岩石からなる地質媒体における流体移動および物質移行に関して、室内実験、現位置試験、サイト特性調査、解析・評価モデル及び関連応用分野への適用など、比較的広い視点から議論し、国内外における最新技術の交流を図る。地質汚染、環境修復、地層処分、二酸化炭素の地下貯留、未解明部分の多いヴェイドスゾーンにおける物質移動及び環境影響評価等に関する研究について理学・工学・農学分野を問わず発表を歓迎する。
英文 
This session covers the topic of fluid flow and mass transport in geological media consisting of soil or rock. Subjects related to laboratory testing, subsurface characterization, theoretical analysis, and numerical modeling will be discussed. Presentations on geo-pollution, remediation, geological disposal of hazardous wastes, mass and energy transport in the vadose zone, and environmental assessment from any fields, such as earth science, engineering, and agriculture, are welcome.
