スコープ和文本セッションは、陸と海の両方から復元される古環境情報とモデル研究の統合を目指し、数年からテクトニクスが関わる時間スケールまでの古環境変動やイベントに関わる研究を取り扱う。陸域・海域、時代、手法を問わず幅広い内容の発表を歓迎し、中・長期の気候・環境変動に関連する幅広い研究分野との一層の連携促進を目指している。 AGUとのJoint meetingである今回は英語セッションで開催し、国際交流を図る。またセッション内特別企画として、過去・現在・未来の海洋循環について熱塩循環、ベンチレーション、貧酸素化などのトピックについて議論する。研究分野の垣根を超え、連合大会ならではの活発な交流の場となることを期待する。
英文Past environmental changes and events at multi-decadal to tectonic timescale toward an understanding of Earth climate system by an integration of terrestrial and marine proxy studies and numerical modeling will be discussed. This session includes a special series of presentations on the ocean circulation under climate change in the past, present and future relating to MOC, ventilation and hypoxia. We welcome a variety of paleo-environmental studies from a wide range of background. We hope that this session will provide an opportunity to promote communication between participants from multidisciplinary field.
