| Scope |
Hazards and Disaster Risk related to volcanoes (on volcanoes, triggered by volcanoes, but away from volcanoes, and related to other processes, but occurring on volcanoes) are numerous, and often pose serious threats to population living on volcanic flanks, attracted by fertile land, or constrained due to the lack of space, or a long tradition of living on the volcano.
