Solid Earth Sciences (S)
Session Sub-category Seismology (SS)
Session ID S-SS13
Title Crustal Structure
Short Title Crustal Structure
Main Convener Name Seiichi Miura
Affiliation Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology
Co-Convener 1 Name Tomoaki Yamada
Affiliation Earthquake Research Institute, The University of Tokyo
Session Language

Scope
This session aims to cover seismological and geophysical studies on the Earth's crust and uppermost mantle. Contribution to the seismological and geophysical structure of the crust and processes that develop in the crust which includes earthquakes, volcanoes, and geological descriptions of the crust are welcomed. We also welcome theoretical and methodological studies that will serve as basics in such explorations. This session is a Japanese/English session for presentation and discussion in Japanese because many similar sessions are English session. Moreover, this session is also for the presentation/discussion of Japanese name project without English name. We welcome the presentation from local to global scale with Japanese and English language.
