| Scope |
This session broadly covers all general things about rock, mineral and resources (petrology, mineralogy and resource geology), including mainly the field investigation, experimental study such as a high-pressure experiment, new analytical and exploration techniques, mineral, volcanic rock, plutonic rock, metamorphic rock, sedimentary rock, ore formation process and its modeling. Since this session is jointly held by Japan Association of Mineralogical Sciences, The Society of Resource Geology and The Geological Society of Japan, we expect this session to be with a vigorous multidisciplinary discussion and academic exchanging beyond the research fields, which are impossible at only one academic society. This session is designated as a J-session to accommodate domestic students who are less familiar with English. However, since slides and posters will include English translations, non-Japanese speakers are welcome to attend without any issues, and presentations in English are also encouraged. |
