Scope In recent years, reports have shown rising temperatures and more frequent, severe torrential rains and droughts around the world. We learn about climate change in school, and have not you noticed it becoming more present in daily life? These are urgent issues that go beyond science and the humanities, demanding immediate action from the global community. Despite this awareness, society often presents extreme stories that deviate from observational data. People also hesitate to take action, questioning the actual impact of individual efforts. Climate change is not a problem only for climate and weather experts. Secondary school students and undergraduate students-who will shape the future-should discuss how to tackle climate change, especially now, ten years after the Paris Agreement went into effect. In this session, we will start by sharing basic knowledge about climate change, followed by presentations on efforts from various academic fields aimed at addressing it. These presentations will include information that could help guide your future career choices. Our goal is to create a space where you, researchers, and teachers can collaborate on thinking about climate change. We encourage active participation. Note:Most participants are upper secondary school students who are not used to discussing in English. Therefore, this session will be held as a J Session.
