In the JpGU meeting 2025, there was discussion on Geosciences and the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development, IDSSD in Session sub-category Geography. IDSSD is a United Nations decade, 2924-2033, strongly supported by the International Science Council, ISC, and the ISC GeoUnions, which includes such academic unions as IGU, IUGG, IUGS and ICA. The present session is intended to further the discussion on IDSSD with focus on the unique roles Human Geoscience can, and should, play for the success of IDSSD and world peace. |
