ScopeIn this century, our knowledge about the earth's twin sister, Venus, has greatly been advanced through two latest missions, ESA's Venus Express and JAXA's Akatsuki. The latter, in Venus orbit since December 2015, is providing high-quality data that allow studies of atmospheric dynamics in particular. Successful missions are the trigger of ideas of new missions (Russian Venera-D and Indian Shukrayaan-1 under development, European EnVision, and some US proposals). This session invites papers of the new results from data (spacecraft and ground-based), latest results of theoretical and numerical works, and descriptions of new missions as well.
