Scope | The impacts of climate change will increase in the risk of natural disasters such as typhoons and torrential rains, change in the distribution of organisms, deterioration in quality and yield in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries. "Climate Change Adaptation Act" was enforced in 2018, aiming to minimize or avoid the damage caused by climate change, and to build a sustainable society. In this session, we will discuss about climate change adaptation based on scientific knowledge, including creation of climate change projection data, assessment of the impacts and risks of climate change in various fields, and tackle social implementation of adaptation plan by co-creation with stakeholders. | |
