Scope | The big theme of this session is "Collaboration and Co-creation between science and expression". In this theme, we discuss several advantages in using an artistic technique for research outcome of geoscience, collaborated artworks between geoscience and art, and new fields of geoscience expected in the future that result from using artistic expression in expressing geoscience. This is the real situation surrounding our academic world of geoscience that there is little chance for a geoscientist to learn artistic expression and technique in a professional way. In this session, specialists of art and design talk and introduce "the tool of expression" that help us when geoscientists give a research talk fascinatingly in order to get the research funding or to advocate one's own theory. Furthermore, we provide a unique panel discussion about geoscience in the next-generation that is expected to come into the academic world of geoscience by geoscientist absorbing artistic technique. | |
