Scope Advanced numerical analyses on turbulence including large-eddy simulation (LES) have been a key topic in meteorology for investigating microscale atmospheric processes. Such numerical approaches are becoming common in atmospheric, oceanic, and environmental science and engineering fields. This session focuses on advanced numerical approaches such as LES for turbulence research in the related fields.
Type of presentation Oral and Poster presentation
