| スコープ | 和文 | 地球生命史セッションは、地質時代を通じた古生物に関する研究全般、および地球生命圏の変遷発展に興味を持つ科学者の間の情報交換の場となることを目的とする。地球生命史は、それ自体が我々が住むこの星の豊かさを象徴するものであるとともに、海洋・大陸・島弧など地史の理解に欠かせない役割を持ち、古気候学や進化生物学とも深い関係を有している。生物とそれを取り巻く環境との間の相互作用の変遷、すなわち生態系の進化についての理解を深めるために、生物学的・生化学的アプローチの重要性も日に日に増している。本セッションでは、これら生命の歴史・進化と地球表層環境の変遷に関して、様々な専門分野の視点から総合的に議論したい。 | |
| 英文 | The Biotic History session covers all aspects of ancient life and the history of biosphere through the geologic time. The study of ancient life is essential for unveiling mysteries of our planet earth. It also provides evidence for evolution of oceans, continents and island arcs. Modern progress in this field has been enhanced by interdisciplinary collaboration with allied sciences, such as paleoceanography and evolutionary biology. Our session intends to be a hub of communication amongst all earth scientists studying the biosphere; we welcome biological and biogeochemical approaches toward the understanding of the history of life. | ||
