火山・火成活動現象とそれらを支配する微視的な現象を統一的に理解するための試みについて議論する．噴火の準備過程，マグマ上昇プロセス，
噴出物挙動などのダイナミクスと素過程の基礎研究や，現象の階層を横断して理解するための手法開発についても議論したい．また，研究手法は問わず，火山・火成活動現象の理解へのきっかけとなるような分野横断型研究の発表も歓迎する． |

This session
discusses the dynamics of volcanic and igneous activities such as
magma accumulation, magma ascent in volcanic conduits, and
dispersion of volcanic products. In order to understand such
multi-scale phenomena, the researches of microscopic and macroscopic
scales and the techniques that combine the different scales are
required. We aim to discuss the latest approaches as well as the
recent observations, laboratory experiments and analyses from the
viewpoint of cross-cutting research. |
