Let us make more breakthroughs in the field in collaboration with board members, section members, and relating societies.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u25a0Atmospheric and Hydrospheric Sciences<\/p>\n<p>NAKAJIMA, Teruyuki\u3000\uff08University of Tokyo\uff09<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>[aspiration]I like to make effort for promotion of interaction among researchers in the atmosphere, ocean and environmental sciences and creation of new horizon through the interaction. We should also contribute to the new journal problem, AOGS2014 and other community conferences.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u25a0Human Geosciences<\/p>\n<p>HIMIYAMA, Yukio\u3000\uff08Hokkaido University of Education\uff09<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>[aspiration]Human Geoscience is a new scientific realm which is essential for the understanding of dynamic nature of human geo-sphere, its impacts on and interrelationships with human. It has been found to be crucial in coping with growing global environmental problems and disasters. If re-elected as president of the section, I would like to lead the section in order to increase its contribution to the society in general, and to such global environmental initiative as Future Earth in particular.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u25a0Solid Earth Sciences<\/p>\n<p>OHTANI, Eiji\u3000\uff08Department of Earth Science, Graduate School of Science, Tohoku University\uff09<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>[aspiration]I would like to activate Solid Earth Science Section of JPGU by special emphasis on four issues, promoting international exchange by establishing focus groups in this section, establishing our new journal, PEPS, introduction of section awards for recognition of scientific and social activities of members, and improving our section website for intimate communication among members.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u25a0Biogeosciences<\/p>\n<p>KOBAYASHI, Kensei\u3000\uff08Yokohama National University\uff09<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>[aspiration]Biogeoscience Section is small but highly interdisciplinary.  We will have many related international conferences in 2014-5.
