He has actively fostered collaboration with other geoscience societies, including JpGU, and has built a strong foundation for scientists to communicate and collaborate beyond national borders and organizational frameworks. He coordinated joint EGU\u2013JpGU sessions at every JpGU meeting and contributed significantly to the establishment of debate-style sessions. His outstanding contributions to the planning and operation of the 2015 JpGU\u2013EGU\u2013AGU\u2013AOGS joint international symposium are particularly noteworthy.
