Preamble<\/h2>\r\nJpGU has international partnership agreements with 4 scholarly societies that broadly cover Earth and planetary sciences and related fields and promoting inter-society collaborations and with 8 societies in East Asian countries with specific fields of interest in geoscience promoting international collaborations.

American Geophysical Union (AGU)<\/h3>\r\nhttps:\/\/www.agu.org\/learn-about-agu\/about-agu<\/i><\/a>\r\n

\r\nAGU is a global community supporting more than half a million advocates and professionals in the Earth and space sciences. Through broad and inclusive partnerships, AGU aims to advance discovery and solution science that accelerate knowledge and create solutions that are ethical, unbiased and respectful of communities and their values. AGU was established in 1919 by the U.S. National Research Council and operated as an unincorporated affiliate of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences for more than 50 years. AGU was independently incorporated in 1972.

European Geosciences Union (EGU)<\/h3>\r\nhttps:\/\/www.egu.eu<\/i><\/a>

\r\nEGU, the European Geosciences Union, is Europe\u2019s premier geosciences union, dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in the Earth, planetary, and space sciences for the benefit of humanity, worldwide. It was established in September 2002 as a merger of the European Geophysical Society (EGS) and the European Union of Geosciences (EUG), and has headquarters in Munich, Germany.

Asia Oceania Geosciences Society(AOGS)<\/h3>\r\nhttps:\/\/www.asiaoceania.org\/society\/<\/i><\/a>

\r\nAsia Oceania Geosciences Society was established in 2003 to promote geosciences and its application for the benefit of humanity, specifically in Asia and Oceania and with an overarching approach to global issues.

Chinese Geoscience Union in Taiwan (TCGU)<\/h3>\r\nhttp:\/\/www.cgu.org.tw\/index.php\/en-home<\/i><\/a>

\r\nTCGU is formally called the \u201cChinese Geoscience Union in Taiwan.\u201d It is lawfully established as a nonprofit social organization whose main purpose is to promote Geoscience research and academic exchange.

\r\nThe Philippine Environmental Science Association (PESA) is a consortium of different higher education institutions. PESA was organized to strengthen the value of environmental science as an interdisciplinary field in analyzing and providing solutions to perennial environmental problems of the country. This is in response to the need for a proactive stance to continuously upgrade and advance the level of environmental science research and action to address the various environmental problems affecting the country.
