2. Whatfs New

The New Society called Japan
Association of Mineralogical Science(JAMS)
has been established on September 22. This is an integration between the
Mineralogical Society of Japan and the Japanese Association of
Mineralogists, Petrologists and Economic Geologists, to promote
expansion of both fields.

Educational affairs committee JpGU has made the proposal to the Ministry of Science, Culture, Sports and Science and Technology. on September 28th about Science Education after the continued discussion on Geoscience Education .in the committee.
