スコープ和文気候変動による影響は台風や集中豪雨等をはじめとした自然災害リスクの増大、生物の分布変化、高温障害など農林水産業における品質・収量の悪化などがあり、今後ますます多様化・深刻化する可能性が予想されているため、これらの問題に対応することは喫緊の課題である。我が国は2018年に「気候変動適応法」を施行し、気候変動の影響による被害を最小化あるいは回避し、持続可能な社会の構築を目指しており、地方自治体などに適応計画の策定の動きが加速している。
本セッションでは科学的知見に基づいた適応策の検討、策定に必要な気候変動予測データの創出、さまざまな分野における気候変動影響・リスク評価とともに、ステークホルダーとの共創など適応策の社会実装に関する課題についても議論を行いたい。
英文The impacts of climate change will increase in the risk of natural disasters such as typhoons and torrential rains, change in the distribution of organisms, deterioration in quality and yield in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries. "Climate Change Adaptation Act" was enforced in 2018, aiming to minimize or avoid the damage caused by climate change, and to build a sustainable society.
In this session, we will discuss about climate change adaptation based on scientific knowledge, including creation of climate change projection data, assessment of the impacts and risks of climate change in various fields, and tackle social implementation of adaptation plan by co-creation with stakeholders.
