スコープ和文Aerosol particles degrade air quality, modulate the radiation budget, influence the formation and evolution of clouds and precipitation, affect the ecosystems and biogeochemical cycles. These impacts have important implications for global sustainability and societal benefits. This session invites papers reporting latest advances in understanding lifecycles of aerosol and assessing aerosol impacts on air quality, the climate system from regional to global scales using in situ observation, remote sensing, and numerical modeling techniques. We also welcome papers on how the important roles of aerosol in air quality and climate system have influenced our society such as economic and educational activities. The topics of interest include but are not limited to: (1) physical processes on aerosol emission, transport and deposition, (2) trends of regional aerosol and their controls by emissions and meteorology, (3) aerosol influences on radiation through scattering, absorption, as well as albedo changing, (4) aerosol impacts on monsoon hydrological cycle and extreme weather events such as drought, flood, wildfire, typhoon, as well as the influences of the extreme weather events on aerosol emissions and transport, (5) the role of aerosol in global biogeochemical cycles, (6) aerosol impact on our society and economy, (7) new analytical methods for assessment and prediction such as machine learning, and (8) aerosol related education and outreach.
