| Scope | The scope of the comprehensive disaster prevention education session covers 1) natural disaster education, 2) disaster prevention education methods, 3) disaster information literacy, 4) disaster transmission, 5) issues of disaster prevention education in schools, 6) disaster recovery education, etc.
In this session, we will consider how to acquire disaster information literacy in the field of disaster prevention education. Disaster information literacy includes the ability to read past disasters from topography and geology, the ability to understand hazard map and the ambiguity of disaster prediction, and the ability to read the dangers of disasters from local conditions.
In addition, while discussing disaster information literacy in this way, discussions on comprehensive and continuous disaster prevention education and reports that will be the beginning of the scope from next year onward will be widely discussed from the fields of geography and earth science. | |
