- All participants are requested to register for online participation. If you would like to participate on-site in addition, please register for on-site participation.
- In order to prevent unauthorized access, we have decided to raise the submission fee and lower the registration fee for online participation compared to the 2020 meeting. The total amount of the early submission fee and the online registration fee levels with that of the 2020 virtual meeting.
- Please note that the abstract submission fee and online registration fee are non-refundable.
- Online registration will be available until the day of the meeting (there is no distinction between early and regular registration), but it is required for oral presentations or online poster presentations, so please register as early as possible (the start date for registration will be announced as soon as it is ready).
- In order to receive a certificate of presentation and participation, you must register for the conference.
- In order to prevent the spread of the novel corona virus, we will set a maximum number of visitors for each day of the on-site event (5/30, 5/31, 6/1) and monitor the visitors. (For example, if you wish to attend both days of 5/30 and 5/31, you will need to purchase a one-day ticket each for 5/30 and 5/31). In addition, there will be a cancellation period, and we will also accept cancellations and refunds due to your health condition on the day of the event. Refunds will also be made in the event that the on-site meeting is reduced or cancelled. Procedures will be announced separately as soon as details are finalized.
- Public sessions only: There is no submission fee, online registration fee, or on-site registration fee for presentations or participation in public sessions only (including presentations by high school students). Registration will be announced separately as soon as details are finalized.
●Call for on-site poster presentation requests
All the poster presentations are to be made available online. In addition, if you wish to make a poster presentation at the local venue, please indicate your intention to do so at the time of submission, regardless of your choice of presentation method (oral/poster) or the result of acceptance. After the program is finalized, you will be asked to register again for the on-site poster presentation, but only those presentations that you requested at the time of initial submission will be allowed to be presented on-site (you may withdraw your request).
Please understand that we will prepare the venue for the on-site poster presentation based on the number of your requests at the time of submissions.
●Outstanding Student Presentation Award (OSPA)
At the 2021 meeting, we are preparing to implement the Outstanding Student Presentation Award, but the content of the award (entry requirements, etc.) is expected to change in accordance with the meeting format. Details regarding the eligibility for the OSPA, how and when to enter, etc. will be announced as soon as they are determined.
If you are a student who would like to make entry for award, please make sure to submit your presentation during the submission period, as it is a prerequisite that you are the abstract submitter.
●The policy for handling online presentation materials will be the same as for the 2020 meeting.(Please click
HERE).
●Other notes
- We are planning to use the Zoom platform for the online oral presentations (current session schedule is here).
The Zoom app version is being considered to be available for use. We will inform you of the details of how to log in at a later date.
- On-site oral presentations will only be available for special Union and Public Sessions and events (to be broadcast live via Zoom. Please see here for the currently scheduled program).
Please note that this is subject to change depending on the situation. In the event that the on-site venue is reduced or cancelled, we ask the schedule and program to be kept the same, replaced by online presentations.
- We are considering offering on-demand streaming only for specific sessions and events such as Union sessions, including on-site oral presentations. We will separately inquire about the availability of on-demand webcast to those who will give a presentation at these specific sessions/events.
- All poster presentations are to be posted online, regardless of whether they are presented on-site or not. We are planning to use Confit as the platform. We will inform you of the upload method and other details as soon as they are decided. The core time for online poster presentations will be set during PM3 (scheduled for 17:15-18:30) .
- On-site poster presentations will be asked to be posted on the day (and possibly the time of day) we specify. Core time will also be allocated. Details will be announced as soon as they are finalized.
- From the viewpoint of preventing the spread of the novel corona virus, we will ask for advance registration for on-site participation in order to limit the number of on-site visitors and to keep track of visitors. We will announce other details as soon as they are finalized, such as the requests to be observed by visitors.
