Notice to the press attending JpGU Meeting 2021
For the press attending JpGU Meeting 2021, please follow the instructions below. Please note that whoever violates these regulations may be asked to leave.
Here, the press is defined as follows (decision made by JpGU office will be final). If you do not correspond to the following definitions and would like to attend JpGU Annual Meeting 2021, please register as a general participant.
・people related to the media such as TV, radio, and newspapers
・reporters of magazines etc.
Registration
Pre-registration is required to attend JpGU Meeting 2021. Please complete the
registration form
.
Those registered by May 20 can login to the conference system after May 21.
Those registered on and after May 21 can login to the conference system after 3 p.m. (JST) of the next day (excluding weekends and holidays) you registered.
When several people from the same company would like to attend, each individual needs to apply. Registration for the press is free of charge.
The press can enter all Zoom channels for oral presentations, poster presentations, and exhibitions at JpGU Meeting 2021. However, separate application will be required to attend seminars which require separate pre-registration. Details of how to attend will be informed by e-mail to those who pre-register.
Attending JpGU Meeting 2021
Oral and poster presentations of JpGU Meeting 2021 will be held online using Zoom.
On Zoom, please indicate your name and affiliation such that other participants can understand that you are from the press. If you are freelance, please write “Press” as affiliation.
Recording presentations is prohibited. If it is necessary, please get permission from the presenter by the day before the presentation. The way to get permission will be informed by e-mail to those who pre-register.
Please do not contact presenters on Zoom channel of JpGU Meeting 2021. Also please refrain from acts which may disturb the participants or interfere with smooth conduct of the meeting. You may use e-mails or other ways to directly contact the presenters. Please note that JpGU office cannot mediate between the press and the presenters.
All presentations and posters used in JpGU Meeting 2021 are copyright protected. Any secondary use is prohibited without permission. If you would like to use, please get permission from the presenter.
Please refrain from interviewing and recording in socializing spaces.
Please pay attention to protecting privacy of general participants.
Please follow any instructions from JpGU office notwithstanding these rules.
Publishing Articles
Please inform the dates and the media to JpGU office when any articles related to JpGUMeeting 2021 are published.
We also ask you to send us a copy of the article or broadcast by
e-mail
etc. even if it is after the publication. Please note that JpGU office never takes any responsibility or liability for any problems caused by publishing an article. Please consult with those concerned carefully before publishing.
Post-event Questionnaire
JpGU office will conduct a post-event questionnaire for the media in order to make future JpGU annual meetings more media-friendly. Please cooperate regarding the questionnaire.
