ScopeThis session aims to develop geoscience education in senior high schools focused on "Integrated Geography" and "Basic Earth Science". Especially, "Integrated Geography" will become a compulsory subject in the new Curriculum Guidelines (Courses of Study) for high school, which requires technical supports by many geoscientists. Curriculums of "Integrated Geography" and "Basic Earth Science" cover all geoscientific disciplines. Our discussion targets methodology for more effective geoscience education, involving high school students and public attendees, based on academic backgrounds.
