Scope |
It is widely recognized that the extremely large surface area and distorted coordination of nano-minerals shape the front of global geochemical cycles and ecosystems throughout the Earth's history. Nano-minerals are intimately relevant to environmental topics such as soil and groundwater contamination with metals and radionuclides, mineral resource exploitation, carbon sequestration and so on. The aim of this session is to expand our fundamental understanding and to share technological advancements with respect to nano-minerals.
