Union session information |
Union session has a lot in common with the Earth and planetary sciences. It is a session where the up-to-date topics that many participants are interested in are discussed. As the union organizes it, no session proposal is invited. However, when the union considers a proposed idea to be appropriate for union session, it may be treated as such. * Abstract submission to Public presentarion(A) is free of charge. Meanwhile, abstract submission to Union Session(U) need normal submission fee. |

U053 | Frontier for the climate change prediction | Teruyuki Nakajima |
|
The 4th IPCC report has shown climate change prediction in the coming 100 years. However, it still contains considerable uncertianty in the treatment of several issues including cloud physics or echosystem. We wil discuss the current status and future topic in these ciritical issues. |

Integration of paleo-sciences for global change prediction
|
Takeshi Nakatsuka |
For the estimate of anthropogenic impacts on climate and environment changes, their natural variability must be understood precisely. Their historical data are also essential for validation of the models applied to future predictions. In this session, we present paleoclimatic views on the ongoing climate changes and discuss the roles of integrated paleo-sciences to predict future global changes. | ||
